How Come My Mom Hates The Movie Twilight?

Ok my mom is very protective of me, which is why i get really mad at her sometimes. My mom bought me the twilight book and i loved it. she also took me to go get a twilight shirt but i had to buy it. She watched the movie with me on november 21. Now that its out, she won’t let me buy it?

Or maybe she doesn’t want you wasting money on a DVD.
Trust me, coming from someone (me) who has over 350 DVDS in a collection worth over 4 grand, there is so much other stuff i coulda bought with that money, or atleast put into a savings account.
I just have a really bad obsession with having the largest movie collection possible.

some teenage girls get obsessed about things and have trouble separating real from make believe, and this movie romanticizes being a vampire. As long as you keep it in perspective and know that it is just entertainment, maybe she would let you buy it.

I totally agree that buying the Twilight DVD would be a mistake because teens do develop unnatural fixations on stuff like that. And besides, maybe she’s just waiting for school to end and would agree to buying it then.

Maybe because she is buying it for you for your b-day. Maybe. Idk probably because most parents don’t like Twilight because thier daughters get obbsessed with it. Whatever twilight ROCKs!
